Third Dimension Technologies (3DT) provides 3D capture and viewing solutions. 3D Webcam The webcam pictured to the right has been developed exclusively by 3DT. With patent pending technology, this hi-resolution USB2 webcam provides out of the box 3D capture capabilities. These cameras have been produced in quantity and are available for distribution. 3D Viewer 3DT's custom viewing software renders 3D streams using off the shelf hardware such as shutter glasses, 3D monitors, HMDs, anaglyph glasses. The viewing software is capable of rendering streams delivered over the internet, from the file system, or directly from a 3D webcam. Webcasting 3D webcam streams can be webcast using any video serving technology. The two most popular media servers are Flash Media Server and Windows Media Server. The end-to-end solution uses 3DT's custom camera driver with the 3D webcam to deliver 3D streams to the media server. The hardware appears as another camera in the operating system.
